Thank you!<\/p>\n<p>******<\/p>\n<p>Multicultural Centre Gloria offers internships for students. Internship at Gloria is suitable for those who are sociable, self-initiative and easily adapt to changing situations. We primarily accept students who are either studying or have experience in, for example, the following fields: guidance (e.g. youth and community counselor, social worker, community pedagogue), teaching, communications, marketing and cultural production. Priority in the selection is given to Gloria volunteers and visitors.<\/p>\n<p>The intern must be able to understand instructions in plain Finnish and also have simple conversations in Finnish. If necessary and possible, we will use other languages to clarify instructions.<\/p>\n<p>Internship at Gloria is only possible from Tuesday to Friday. Internship hours are generally between 9 am and 4:30 pm. We hope that you can also join us on Tuesdays for game and discussion evenings until 6 pm, once a month on Thursdays in the language caf\u00e9 until 7 pm, and at occasional evening events. To ensure the smooth running of the internship and Gloria&#8217;s own operations, we hope that the intern can commit to being in the internship for the agreed time and does not have other overlapping studies.<\/p>\n<p>We mainly offer longer internships at Gloria (e.g. 3 months). We can also take interns for shorter internships (e.g. 3 weeks of language training) if the intern is interested in Gloria&#8217;s activities, has special skills that are needed at Gloria, and is active and self-initiative.<\/p>\n<p>In principle, we only take interns for one internship period. For justified reasons and according to Gloria&#8217;s needs, we can take the same intern for another internship period.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic tasks of the interns:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>maintenance and organization of the space<\/li>\n<li>kitchen tasks<\/li>\n<li>preparation of materials used in groups<\/li>\n<li>reception and guidance of visitors<\/li>\n<li>assistance\/participation in groups<\/li>\n<li>assistance in event arrangements<\/li>\n<li>presentation of Gloria&#8217;s activities, e.g. at events and on social media<\/li>\n<li>in addition, possibly other tasks depending on the intern&#8217;s special skills, e.g. group management, content production for social media\/websites, photography, videography, making advertisements, translations of materials into different languages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application schedule for autumn 2025:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The first application period ends on 31 August. Interviews and selections will be held from 1 to 5 September.<\/li>\n<li>The second application period ends on 8 October.
