Come experience an evening where music, people, and ideas come together!<\/p>\n

Participation is free, but registration for the event is required via the\u00a0online form<\/a>\u00a0or on-site. Coat check is mandatory for all participants.<\/p>\n

Program<\/strong><\/p>\n

Workshops 6:00\u20138:00pm<\/p>\n

\u2013 Music Workshop<\/p>\n

Come try out and play different instruments (guitar, ukulele, djembe drum, kantele, violin, as well as percussion and rhythm instruments). No prior experience is necessary\u2014all you need is a willingness to give it a try.<\/p>\n

The workshop is led by Maria Typp\u00f6, a music educator from Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4. Maria says: \u201cI\u2019ve been teaching music for a couple of decades, and my interest in music has only grown over the years. The best part is when you can share music with someone else. So come join us\u2014it\u2019s easy to get started. Let\u2019s experiment, explore, and have fun!<\/p>\n

\u2013 Origami Workshop<\/p>\n

A fun, hands-on origami workshop where you can turn simple paper into animals, decorations, and tiny 3D creations. No experience needed, just bring your curiosity and get ready to make something surprising.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The \u201cPlant is Sound\u201d Installation<\/p>\n

What happens when plants and people make sound together? Come experience an interactive installation where your touch changes the sound.<\/p>\n

The event is part of the Open Art & Life Lab project, organised by Kulttuuritalo Villa Rana and Multicultural Center Gloria and partly funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme. The programme is aimed at people aged 13\u201330, but everyone is welcome. The event is alcohol-free, accessible and follows the principles of safer spaces.<\/p>\n
