The cultural heritage of Ukraine in holidays and traditions
News about Ukraine now dominate in the headlines in all media outlets. Ukrainians have become visible through the lens of war, although their original cultural heritage is deeply rooted and worthy of separate attention.
”Weird” Ukrainian holidays and traditions are maintained by them even here in Finland, and they are not as ordinary as they seem at first glance.
You will learn more about the mythology, demonology, beliefs and customs of Ukrainians on the example of the holiday of Trinity (Green Sunday), which falls on June 12.
