Come learn basic computer skills and earn yourself badges! The course is intended for adults who are new to using a computer. The course teaches you how to use a mouse, keyboard, file transfer and browser. In addition, you will learn computer vocabulary in Finnish (English as an auxiliary language if necessary). For example, we will learn how to use the Paint drawing program and the internet browser.
You will learn important digital skills in the course. You can receive national basic skills badges (KAPOS) during the course, which will improve your position in the job market. The badges will be displayed in the “My Studyinfo” service. The following badges can be awarded during the course:
– development of digital skills
– digital solutions and
– digital operating environments
You do not need your own computer for the course, but if you have a computer, you can bring it with you.
The course is on Thursdays from September 18th to October 30th (except October 16th due to the autumn break) from 12:45 to 2:15 pm.
